11:30a.m-1:30 p.m

University Club
23 University Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15260

Featuring Neil Resnick, MD, professor

Institute on Aging.

What: How much is enough? Will your inheritance plan be a blessing or a burden?

When: May 5, 2010, 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.

Where: Pittsburgh Athletic Association
4215 Fifth Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Presenter: Peter Eberhart, Managing Director Henry H. Armstrong Associates, Inc.

Content: Many people wish to leave an inheritance to their children and grandchildren, and the hope is that this generosity will give loved ones an advantage in life. The stories about the potentially damaging influence of large inheritances are plentiful, however, and cause parents and grandparents to ask, “How much is enough?”, “How should I give?”, and “When should I give?” Join us for a discussion of considerations and techniques for crafting an inheritance plan that will prove to be an asset, not a liability, for the beneficiaries. Topics will include: the benefits of giving during your life, the need to treat all loved ones equally, effective use of trusts, and benefiting your family by benefiting charity.
